My Sony PEG-T615C/G works well but the battery will not hold a charge. Can I replace the battery? if so, what type is it?

Hello

Your system definitely uses a lithium ion battery.

Over their lifespans, lithium-ion batteries can lose the ability to hold a charge. After a few years, some batteries will last only a fraction of the rated runtime. Replacing a battery is relatively simple; most pop out from the bottom or back of the laptop.

Many retailers, however, charge hundreds of dollars for a new battery. Sites like batteries.com specialize in discount laptop batteries and can save you money on a brand new battery for your laptop. For example, a Dell Latitude D620 Li-ion battery costs $139 on Dell's Web site and $83.99 on batteries.com, as of press time. (The company even offers a two-year warranty and 45-day money-back guarantee on all laptop-battery orders.)

What type of CMOS battery should I buy for HP compaq - d/530s/P2.66/40bc/512E/4UK?

Being a desktop, take the side off and take a look. They are usually 2032 or 2016 button style Lithium Ion.
They can be purchased from most Jewelers, and Hardware type stores.

Mi optical mouse not work

If it's corded, you may have a short in your cable.

If it's wireless, check to make sure you are using Alkaline or Lithium batteries. Rechargables work great, too. If the batteries are with charge and your mouse still doesn't work, and you see a red beam or blue beam, yet it doesn't work, make sure you have a good mouse pad to use it with.

If none of these suggestions work, go find $20 in the cushions of your couch and buy a new one. ;-)

Thanks for using FixYa.

Change batteries in my wireless mouse

There should be a battery compartment on the bottom of your mouse. It might have a small screw holding it in place. Open & remove old battery, replace with fresh battery. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.
