It has nothing to do with the input...just press src until you get to standby then hold menu until the menu is displayed. toggle down to aux then toggle right to turn it on...hit menu to save and youre all set, the aux will appear when go through the source menu.

Gramizzle- the uint is not showiing that your plugged in,your input plug may be broke away from the pc board assy,or the inter connect cable may be damaged. Does the unit plug into the front of the of the unit,if so thats most likely where the problem is.This will need to be solldered up , I hope this helps. cooltek Mar03/08

do you have inputs on the rear? if so there must be a button or selection method - do you have a "aux" button?. If connecting by Scart or HDMI it may auto sense it and switch to the auxiliary (aux) input automatically

What does the "auxillary heat"

Auxiliary Heat is used to turn the electric heat strips ON, If the heat pump is not working. Or if the heat pump can't bring the space temperature up to Set Temperature it will display Aux Heat ON....... Assuming you have a Heat Pump System with Auxiliary Electric Heat as Back up...... If the tech didn't install a jumper wire from AUX to W on the subase which is in back of the Display on the Thermostat.....you won't get Auxiliary Heat if the Thermostat is set for Auxiliary Heat. Other wise the thermostat will turn the heat pump on first and then the electric heat (Aux Heat) if it needs it to satisfy the set temperature....... Hope this helps

I have a Jandy Aqualink RS8 Wireless One Touch system that is not operating right. Auxiliary 3 is not working at all. Each time the filter pump automatically begins, three other auxiliaries (5, 6 and 7)...

Yes, you can just replace the board.
There are internal signals generated by the cpu board that open and close your aux relays.
With this type of failure (multiple aux's tripping at same) it is always just a board problem.
You will want to recheck all the wiring before installing new board to ensure that a short is not being created due to a bad connection.

The battery on my car ent dead and now my AIWA CDC-MP32 keeps displaying "please unplug auxillary plugs"

Hi,

An auxiliary input allows you to select an external source and play it through the cd player's amplifier. It's often used for iPods and MP-3 players. Typically you just need an inexpensive patch cable that connects the headphone output from your portable player to the input on the CD player. After that you can select "AUX" as another source like CD or Tuner, and whatever's playing on the portable unit will be heard through the speakers.
Auxiliary inputs can be on the front or the rear of the CD player. Front aux inputs are typically 3.5mm stereo plugs, similar to a small headphone jack. Rear aux inputs can be RCA jacks or a 3.5mm jack. If you have a CD player with a rear aux input, a cable needs to be connected at the time of installation. Then the other end can be routed to whatever location in the vehicle you want to keep your portable player while you're using it with the CD player.
Front aux jacks are more convenient for quick connecting/disconnecting the portable player, but they tend to wear out over time.

Let us know if you have somethin more to ask else accept the suggestion.
Thank You for contacting Fixya

Switching on the auxiliary input

According to the manual, the AUX input is an optional accessory.

Check to see if the RCA jacks are labeled. I believe they are pre-outs only.

Best of Luck.
