After uploading music the message disk error keeps showing and no music is avaliable to listen to

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

Philips go gear sa3245/97 not starting

You can download content to a Philips GoGear multimedia player using Windows Media Player or MusicMatch Jukebox in Windows. Earlier versions of Windows starting with 2000/ME and XP are compatible with GoGear. If the device is not recognized by the Windows XP operating system or is receiving error messages, you may have older versions of the necessary software installed. There also may be firmware issues with the GoGear device.

Instructions

Connect the Philips GoGear to another USB port on the computer. Sometimes USB ports go out, especially those in the front of the computer case. Try inserting the GoGear into another port and see if XP can now recognize the device.

Download Service Pack 1 or later for the XP operating system (see Resources). Philips GoGear can only operate on XP systems with at least Service Pack 1 installed. You may also receive an error message pertaining to the service pack when trying to insert the installation disc for the GoGear support software.

Install the latest version of Windows Media Player. Philips GoGear requires at least Windows Media Player 11. Windows Media Player 11 is available for XP .

Install the latest version of MusicMatch Jukebox (see Resources). Earlier version of this software may be causing error messages regarding missing MP3 tag information and missing tracks. Follow the download prompts, then unzip the folder and click on the "HDD_xxx.exe" installation file. The latest version of the software will be installed.

Install the latest firmware on the Philips GoGear. The actual firmware required depends on your GoGear model. Open either Philips Device Manager or Songbird, depending upon which management software you are currently using. Close all programs on the computer except for the Device Manager/Songbird. Connect the GoGear to the power supply and the computer. Click the "Repair" tab in the Device Manager and click "Repair," or click "Tools" in Songbird and select "Check for updated firmware," and the firmware will be updated on the GoGear.

Please I would like to copy a cd from husbands library onto a dane elec 1gb.. Can anyone please help me? thank you

If you have Windows Media Player it will copy the CD. All you have to do is insert the CD select WMP and copy. You will have to selector that hard drive you mention to copy too. It is best to also select MP3 as the format, this way you get the names and titles of each track on the CD. All of these come under the menus of the Windows Media Player Library.

I got my songs picked out on windows media player and was wondering how to get them copied on my iomega cd-rw

No problem. Just pop in a disc and in the windows media player there will be a tab that says burn. Just select the songs you want to copy and on the side it will tell you how much room you have on the disc. Usually you can put between 17-20 songs on one disc. When you are ready to copy, just hit burn and it will copy the songs onto the disc. During this time you can even listen to other music while it is doing that. Hope this helps. Oh also make sure your burner is set to record...to make sure this function is enabled right click on your cd-drive icon in My Computer. Click Properties. Find the box that says enable write recording and make sure it is checked otherwise you will not be able to burn any cd's. You only have to do this once. The computer will remember your settings each time you log on. Cheers.

Have rca lyra mp3 , but on cd with it

If you have Windows XP you need to download Musicmatch Jukebox in order to transfer music. Google it. You will probably have to pay for it. However Musicmatch Jukebox does not work with Windows Vista. If you have Vista, you can use Windows Media Player to transfer music to your Lyra. The Media Player automatically comes with Windows Vista OS. Of course, you need to connect your Lyra to your computer using the proper USB cable, so your computer must have a USB port.

Sync

The "please sync" refers to songs that are part of a subscription service, like Rhapsody, or Yahoo Music. If you have one of there, you need to connect to your account and update your license(s). If no, the problem is probably with you own music files. See if the following sounds familiar; - You are using some music from your own Cd's. - You used Windows Media Player to copy the cd's to your computer. - You have not manually changed any of the "default" settings in Windows Media Player. If these apply, by default Windows Media Player "copy protects" your music, giving you the "please sync" error message. To resolve this, you will need to change the "copy protect" option from WMP. Tools>Options>Rip Music, un-check the box for "copy protect". Then delete the songs on your player that are from cd's. Then, re-copy them to your PC. Then, re-transfer them to your device. You can add to this question for more assistance. Best of Luck.
