Microsoft wireless notebook laser mouse 6000 not working
I have a miscrosoft wireless laser mouse 6000, and it also stopped working
on my laptop. I changed the battery, still no workie. I tested the
battery in another device, and it was good. I moved the mouse to
another computer, and it did not work. The light on the usb connector
was lit. [No changes at all to my laptop.]. It seemed like there was
no power to the mouse, and I looked at the contacts inside the mouse.
The contact just inside the mouse's opening for the battery appeared to be bent down
(away from the contact on the battery tray). So, I pulled it up a little
so it would connect when the battery drawer closed, and (after tweaking
it a couple of times), it finally worked!
thanks for your quick reply but as you can see on the image, its SONY VAIO VGP-BMS33 BLUETOOTH LASER MOUSE.
its wireless.
anyway, just found out that laser light for this type of gadget emits only very small amount of light.
