Question about RCA F31317 31" TV
TV worked fine until the channels 2-6 disappeared and all I get is fuzz. We checked other tvs in the house, and channels 2-6 were still showing, so it must be the TV. We switched out the TV with another one, and that one works fine, so it's not the cable or any of the connections. Any ideas?
In most cases when you set your menu ("tuner section") to cable, the tv will pick up all channels, but if you set it to "off air" or "antenna" (or whatever the other choice is labeled), then the tv will only go up to about channel 50 or 60. Are you using cable, dish, or an antenna on top of your house. If using cable or dish, then go into the menu on your tv and set the tuner to "cable". I am pretty certain that your tuner is NOT currently set on "cable" and that also there are no local "off air" channels in your area on 2 thru 6, therefore, you see snow on these channels. I have repaired hundreds of tv's and I feel very strongly that your problem is in your menu.
