Question about Saeco Primea Cappuccino Touch Plus Coffee Maker
We have a new saeco primea ring, and the milk added to any of the milk drinks is luke warm at best. We found how to adjust drink temperature, and the coffee comes out nice and hot, but the "steamed" milk is literally luke warm at best. I can put my finger under the milk as it comes out and I'd guess it's coming out at about 80 deg F. Any suggestions? Does this need repair?
I had the same problem and my retailer worked it out for me when you select say cappuccino and go to the coffee quantity then the milk hold down the button that looks like a jug for over 2 seconds then the milk temperature comes up and you can adjust to low med or high now i am finally enjoying a hot drink

Okay! Looks like many of you out there has the same problem, whit the milk temerature (not me i never had).
But there is a service menu on primea touch plus series.
Im from Sweden but i will try my best to explain how to enter the menu. First of all !!MUST!! write down off parameters before changing any thing!!!! It is possible to set the grinder to grin more coffie for each cup. I think the factory setting is 85 Aroma impulse. It is possible to change that for you type of coffie beans that you use, i will diff from bean to bean.
Okay, to enter the menus you have to turn you machines off.
Now turn it on !!!!!EXACTLY!!!!! when the display lights up press your display in the following order ALWAYS IN THE CORNERS (you will not see any icons were you have to touch on you display) RIGHT LOWER CORNER, LEFT UPPER CORNER, RIGHT UPPER CORNER, LEFT LOWER CORNER.
To enter the second service menu, do as i explained before but use this "CODE" instead. LEFT UPPER CORNER, RIGHT UPPER CORNER, LEFT LOWER CORNER, RIGHT LOWER CORNER. This is it! Hope i could help you! Remeber to write down before doing any changes! DO NOT ERASE ANY FAULT CODES YOU SERVICE CENTER WILL FIND THAT INFORMATION VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!
Dont say that it didnt work, it will it´s a huge matter of timing!!!! IT WILL WORK!!!!
Let me know some results please!!

Just to confirm 0505's post on entering the Service Menus.
IT IS TRICKY, but keep trying and you will get there.
It is just a matter of timing :-)
I can now enter both Service Menu easily.
Thanks again to 0505 from Sweden.

You have to take it to a Saeco service center, they will update the software in your machine.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
