Question about Xerox Phaser 8500N Printer
If I understad you correctly, you are getting the errors on your computer from the print jobs faulting out?
Let's start simple to more complicated.
I would at first try shutting down and removing power from the machine for about 10 minutes, then letting it setup. Power back on and let the machine reload its software and setups.
There are various drivers on the www.xerox.com site. You may need to switch driver types. From PS to PCL or PCL to PS. Or the driver simply may be corrupted.
You can also at the site, download the printer software and upload it to the machine to eliminate corruption, and have a fresh version.
Other slight possibilities are, have you changed the word processor your using? Such as sending pages from Word to Open Office ? the format change can cause odd problems.
A firewall issue is a slight possibility, although very unlikely.
I would start with powering the machine down, then drivers.
I suspect one of those 2 will fix your issue.
