Hi Andy,
Does your unit go into protect mode without speakers connected?.

Please try that. We're at step 1, ruling out that 1 or more speakers connected to the unit are'nt shorted causing the unit to trip. Disconnect speaker wires from amp end.

My jvcMXGT90 keeps shutting off the audio keeps shutting off when ever the jvc is cranked past 15 and the bass is on levle four what should udo??

Turn it down or it will turn itself down permanently.

Read the paragraph labeled "CONNECTION" on Page 2 of the SP-MXG70 (last) part of the document.

Generally speaking, an amp attempts to protect itself from heat, shorts, overloads and operator exuberance by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

How to reset my sony mhc-gs100??? it keep saying power protect...

Your stereo went into protect mode to prevent complete failure of the amplifier inside that radio. Most of the time this happens from playing the stereo real loud for a real long time and it overheats. Most of the time disconnecting the receiver/stereo and letting it cool all the way down or at least 5 minutes and then reconnecting it to the power source will reset the protection mode. You want to make sure you are keeping the radio cool. Don't stack anything on top of it and try keeping a small fan blowing on it to expedite the heat out from the unit. Also turning it down every now and then to let everything cool down a bit will help prevent it from going into protection mode as well.

You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Eure the fan (if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris from it.

If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the cause can do more harm than good.

If it protects immediately on a cool power up you should disconnect the speaker connections and try it 'naked'. If it comes up then diagnose which lead(s) are shorted. If it does not come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced and competent hands-on tech.

You got to open this puppy up and replace the 2 bad IC boards.  Known problem with this brand stereo.  Defect in the IC boards causes your fuses to blow and they will keep blowing every time you try to put new ones in.  Cost for parts will be about $200.

Saying protect and wot let us use it

This unit will go into protection MODE for a number of reasons It has eight quick blow fuses inside the can to add to the over all protection, I have repaired electronic equipment for years and I have never come across such a well protected system. having said that I am working on a unit now that buzzes and the volume will go up when turning it up or (down) on the unit itself the remote works to turn it up or down. So your trouble take the can apart and make sure the plugs (ribbon wires) are all seated properly then try.
Presuming you have already made sure the speaker wires are in the right places and not crossing from frayed wires.
Seating the wires and cleaning the dust may just fix your troubles.
Any unit that has a fan is doubling as an air filter and there are some transistors and IC’s that will over heat in this system.
