Many people have been wanting more and more functionality between PS3 and Facebook. Many people have also been wanting a Facebook App and have been complaining about how Facebook.com runs on the PS3 Web Browser. There is a easy and fast way to use Facebook on your PS3 Web Browser. Simply type m.Facebook.com into the address bar of your PS3 Web Browser. You'll enjoy Facebook fully on your PS3 with ease. IM will not work unfortunately.
So that was from 2011....
Here is some updated info found....
Turn on your PlayStation 3.
Select "PlayStation Network."
Select "Account Management." If you do not see "Account Management," select "Sign In" and log into your PlayStation Network user account. The option will then appear.
Select "Facebook" to load the Facebook application on your PlayStation 3.
Select "Share Trophy Information" if you want to share information about the in-game trophies you unlock with your Facebook news feed. Select "Share Purchase Information" to publish information about the PlayStation Store purchases you make with your news feed. Select "Share Game Event Information" to share information about game events you participate in with your news feed. After making a selection, select "On" to enable the feature.
Enter your Facebook user account and password to link your Facebook profile with your PlayStation 3.
If you mean the PSN account, try going to it with a web browser on a standard PC and setting it from there. Then when you log into the PS3 account that matches the online PSN account, the changes should appear. I do not store credit card details EVER on PSN due to the several very highly publicized hacks they have been victim of.
In fact, I do not store credit card information on ANY web site for later use, even ones I use a lot (Amazon, eBay, etc.) - it's just an invitation for the bad guys to steal your credit card information and you do not have to store the info there to use it - you can use it one time only, each time without storing, or get a "prepaid" card for online purchases if you want to store it on a site with a known history of being hacked, to keep the damage to a minimum if the account info of the card is later stolen.
If you see an error #8001020F you have run up against the current global
issue with the Playstation Network. Most PS3 games will check the
trophy status online before they load whether you are actually playing
online or not. Sony is aware of the issue and is
working on it. The problem is apparently limited to the older PS3 units. The slim units can still connect online. They have not released an ETA at this time. Sony is
currently updating their Twitter page with their progress. You can check
the following link for updates:
put money onto the ps3 (on the playstation store) and on ultimate team go to buy and press on playstation store and buy the gold pack its around 70p i got lampard terry etc and my trade pile is full of contracts wich i am selling and my other trade pile made 2000 coins quickly its a good way to get a better team
some games on the ps3 requires a 1mbps of upload most of the games are at 512 mbps wich most internet services are locked at 512 its a problem out there for ps3 users the internet providers wont go over 512 due the their bandwith allocation! wich means if they double everybodys upload then they will run out of stream for uploads and downlads!
espacially when you play games with over 14 multiplayers the 1mbps becomes crucial!
so i suggest talking with the internet service and check online the game you refer for upload requirement donload shoulbefine!
