I had the same problem with my Asko W6021 washer, and since the "bumper to bumper" warranty had expired I decided to open it up and have a look. The 3-way inlet valve was continually open to the "prewash" hose, and when I took the screen off, I found that an o-ring attachment point had cracked off. I called the company's parts warehouse in Texas. If you look in the parts catalog (first google hit when I searched "Asko W6021 parts catalogue PDF") it's part #15 in the "upper session." Assuming you've got the same washer as me, it's part # 8061757.
I called their parts warehouse ((866) 223-5549) and they're overnighting the part for less than $100 including overnight shipping. Keeping my fingers crossed...

CYCLE COMPLETED WATER POURING OUT SOAP DISPENSER. WHAT'S BROKEN?

Your incoming water valve has failed. Remove to upper cover/lid and look in the top of the machine, turn the water on slowly and you should be able to spot the item. If all this scares you, get hold of your local appliance shop/engineer.

My WMS38 Hotpoint washing machine has the wash, rinse and spin and final spin lights on but nothing happens when the start button is pressed

Assuming tap water is turned on. If there is no water intake, the machine will not start. Check for the sound of water pouring in the machine. Check the water inlet filter, if it is jammed with foreign materials such as rust deposits, small stones, soil etc. Then check for the proper functioning of inlet water solenoid valve. Sometimes the valve gets stuck.

Just bought the machine. Basically, the problem is that the steam wand goes of on its own (or as soon as I push the coffee button) and that I cannot turn the steam handle at all or do anything to stop...

Hi. Make sure all your buttons are off. (switches all facing the same direction). Then make sure the tap is turned off. Switch main power on. Then switch the coffee on. you should hear the pump start. usually loud at 1st, then it will get quiter as the water is pumped up through the group head. When water is pouring through the group head, switch off the coffee button. Now let it finish heating. If you can get to this stage, then everything is ok. If you cant get it to this stage then you have a problem with the machine. Most likely a themostat on the boiler. Darryn REPAIRER

My 92 Ford Ranger 2WD 4 cylinder recently overheated. I pulled over and added water. Continued on, then it overheated again. After having it towed home, it will not start. It is turning over, just not...

When you added the water was the engine still hot? When you filled it, was the engine off, or running? Pouring cold water into an overheated engine, especially when the engine is not running, will crack the engine block-fatal. check for oil in coolant or coolant in the oil, check compression-if all are good, start checking for spark (ignition module) or fuel (sound of fuel pump when key is turned on)-good luck.

Washer won't start. water pours down sewer pipe

Hi, If the water is going out the drain hose, raise the drain hose so that its highest point is as high as the top of the washer. This should take care of the issue. If the water is coming out of the bottom of the machine, tip it back against the wall and look under the washer to see if a hose has broke or came loose.
If I can assist you further, please let me know.
