With the sim card active and in the phone it will make calls but you cannot hear or talk to the other person.

How can you tell that the person on the other end can't hear you. If your speaker is dead you won't be able to hear him but there are pretty less chances that your mike also is dead. Just get another handset and make a call to that phone and check it first. In case your voice is audible on the other phone then you require to take your phone to a mech who will remove your dead speaker and replace it with a new one.

I can hear callers talking, can make calls, and can hear the person I've called but they cannot hear me. And the voice recorder does not pick up my voice. Any ideas on how to correct this?

Hello,

The problem with your phone is that the mouth piece on your phone is bad that is why people you call or people that calls you cannot hear you.

All you need to do is to replace the mouthpiece on your phone, after you have change the mouthpiece, you will see that people you call or that calls you can hear you while talking.

All you need do is just to replace the mouth piece of your phone and you see that people will start hearing you when you talk on the phone.

Take care.

Audio problem. When I make/receive calls, other person cannot hear my voice.

This problem I've had myself But it will only solve the problem if your cell uses a sim card. When the sim cards go bad thats whats happens your hear them but they can't hear you or vice-versa.

Your probably going to have to take it in to your Cell phone service provider. I had the same issue and it ended up getting worse(meaning no one could hear me) and i had to have the phone replaced. More than likely something came loose.

I had the same problem with that phone... while manipulating the mobile part (cover) you can slightly improve the volume.
Another point to check is the button on the side of the phone which allows to increase or lower the volume: it could happen that you turn the volume low without noticing it...
My solution was to replace the phone.
