How do you fix errors that will not let you get into playstation network

The PlayStation network has been down for days, they're working on it.

this means you cant go on the network but if it says something like ' an error has occured ( 80023121 ) then it means the network is down and is under maintenance and is trying to be fixed this could take some time

The U.S. PlayStation Network is down at the moment. Sony Entertainment is working on this. The code is from the site not a physical error with your PS3. That code says - "80710A06 - An error occurred during the install operation (error when downloading game from PSN - network error occurred." The only way I have heard of to fix this is to reset the system to defaults. Go to the settings -> System Settings --> restore system defaults --> then restart your system. This will clear your code. However The PlayStation Network is down and this too can be in part the problem but the hard reset is what takes care of the issue when the PSN is running normally. I'd wait till the PSN comes back online before a hard reset.

Apparently it's a temporary issue on the Playstation Network and there's not a known fix yet. But some people are trying different things to getting it fixed, check this ongoing discussion on the official playstation forums

no but playstation can they said next 24 hours they also said dont turn it on until problem is fixed or more of your data could get wrecked its a problem only for old style ps3 the slim is still wroking mine went down yesterday reformated it lost everything still didnt fix it the problem its the ps3 network thats bad not your ps3 tis a bug in thier system

You cannot fix this error yourself but please don't worry. There is a huge problem occurring right across the board at this very moment with the PSN Network. Some consoles are not synchronising properly due to an internal clock error which is causing problems exactly like you describe. It is expected that Sony will soon have this resolved.
