Yes, you would need a dvd player or some sort of additional media player. They have alot of different kinds out now. You can even use your cable box to order movies, or you can even use a device that will stream movies instantly such as netflix.
Yes you can use the wireless headsets (you might need a cheap adapter from radio shack) and it can play only one dvd at a time but most models let you plug a video game into the screens so one kid can watch the movie and the other can play thier game
I hope i was of help!
Question: You can't see it (movies) without it being pluged in!, Can you see it when it is pluged (A/C, or DC power) IN? Do you have FRESH batteries ? The "JACK" for power inside the player could be damaged. Lets the power from the plug in but does not connect for power from the battery. 2nd) When you buy a new equipment you usually get a manual with at least 2 languages. I'll TRY to download it in ENGLISH and you translate it. send me the model # of the "Polaroid" dvd player
You need to post edit the recording; First unprotect then do a split before the commercial than split after, then recombine the parts without the ad. Cumbersome, but it works
My kids were pressing all the buttons on the dvd playing. The image flip and I was clueless on how to fix it. I held the mode button for a few seconds and it corrected the problem.
take a quick peek in the manual and find out where to disable the progressive scan features. may be a button on the back, or you may have to go through the on screen menu to find it. take the disc out and see if you can view what's on screen.
or since you said you had a couple of movies that did work properly, put one of those in, start the movie, go into the dvd player setup menu and disable the progressive scan settings
