My problem is that I can't find the manual.

  • cogo92103 Mar 03, 2008

    the model is DV 2150

  • cogo92103 Mar 04, 2008

Followed instruction in manual, does not show time on VCR/CD. Perhaps, when day light savings time arrives next Sunday it will show time. Please comment. Thank you

I followed directions and to no avail. On the TV screen I'll put the time but it does not display the time on the DVD/VCR. Where do I go from here.

Thank you very much, I repeated the procedures as indicated in manual and it worked! I'm just grateful...gomohundro

Check clock settings on this manual, it is page 42. The menu should be similar to the one on your machine. If you tell me which model I will try to find the manual.

I don't think day light savings time will make any difference.

After power outage front display blinking "16".

I had a similar issue where after a power outage, the player would not power up.
I removed it from power and took the cover off looking for a fuse. Could not find anything so I put the cover back on and plugged it in and it worked. My theory is the electronics needed time to fully discharge in the circuits. I would leave it unplugged for about 24 hours. I left mine unplugged for several days. I hope this helps.

Had power outage and now VCR/DVD does not turn back on. lights all work but it doesn't seem to pick up the channel?

Dis-connect the plug from the wall receptical and other leads attached to to the unit. Next press and hold power for too minutes in an attempt to reset the microprocessor, now hook everything back up and power on, if this fails it probably would be cheaper to replace the combo than have it repaired.

No power on LCD after power outage

First, check whether it is the fuse in the home wiring that is out. You should plug something else into the outlet to see if the outlet is still functioning.
Some electronic equipment has a reset switch (fuse) on the back panel. Others have a special sequence of buttons on the panel that will act as a reset. Check your user manual to see whether your unit has such a switch or reset sequence.

Cannot unlock ratings on my Panasonic DMR-ES20!

Apparently it is caused by power outages.
Here's the fix: Put in DVD mode.
• While the disc tray is open, press and hold [* REC] and [PLAY/x1.3] on the main unit at the same time for 5 or more seconds. Press until you see INIT on front screen of unit.

could be a ratings problem. Perform a reset by holding down your channel up and channel down buttons on the unit itself simultaneously until it shuts off. Wait a few seconds and turn it back on. Give it a try. Good Luck - Tamara

Resetting to default

I read this in a forum:
http://forum.videohelp.com/topic286986.html

First turn off the power to the unit, then power on.

1. Open & close the drawer without disk.

2. Press stop button for some time(upto 20 seconds). This resets the DVD player, and I am suppose to get the Video also back. But with me, it didn't help. Though I saw that Green LED becomes Red for a moment while holding stop button pressed. That means Reset is happening.

Try this method and see if it works for you.
