Question about Electronics - Others
I bought a mp3 player phone at cricket with a one GB SD adapter and chip for my phone then I went to walmart and bought the card reader with the usb cable for my sisters lap top computer. My sister plugged it into the computer trying to transfer the mp3 songs on her computer onto the chip but the computer keeps saying no device found how do I get the songs onto my phone if I can't get my card reader to work on the computer?
If your sister is using a windows based operating system like 95 or 2000, you will need to install the driver for that. The OS cant read anyting until you install the driver for it. But Windows Xp does not need any driver installation. Because it all ready has bulit in. If you are using Windows Xp then the problem can be harder to find out.
If u are using Windows XP, try to install the driver just in case,
then see if it works, if not then there can be a problem with the card reader. Try using this with other friends of yours. And see if the Chip is fine or not damaged.
