yes, the playstation network has a clock bug, this is why log in does not work and trophy games will not start, this is only the case on original playstations not the slim ps3 sorry

There is a bug in the Playstation system right now. If you notice your date stamp may say a weird date such as 2000 or 1999. Trophies will not load and the network will not connect not allowing you to play DLC or trophy enabled games. A statement from Sony suggests not to turn on your ps3 at this time-
"We believe we have identified that this problem is being caused by a bug in the clock functionality incorporated in the system."

We hope to resolve this problem within the next 24 hours. In the meantime, if you have a model other than the new slim PS3, we advise that you do not use your PS3 system, as doing so may result in errors in some functionality, such as recording obtained trophies, and not being able to restore certain data."

This is a worldwide problem which has only struck recently, sony hope to repair it within 24hours and release a new update. They say it may damage your system to play it during this time but I think games where you can't gain trophys shouldn't do any harm.

my ps3 will not play my games. It begins to load and then a little message pops and reads "Registration of the trophy information could not be completed. (800105F)" what does this mean?

This is a worldwide issue with the Sony Network today which might be due to system maintenance. Sony is working on the problem and the problem will be rectified soon. Kindly wait for further updates from Sony. Your system should work normally when the issue is fixed.

The trophy is an online issue and seeing how the PSN is down due to mantaince you will just have to wait it out.

ok first off just know that there is a playstation network problem so the trophys is jus keep going into the game
