E370 language Hi Tried unlock /reset code 4 samsung E370, phone language changed 2 German !!!!! How can I get English back ?

Hello, you can try this simple steps configure your language in any language you want; english, german or japanese or even more! And this is the steps, kindly follow it thoroughly to changed it with ease;
1. Open your phone.
2. Tap Menu.
3. Tap Configure or Settings. (a wrench icon)
4. Tap Phone. (a phone icon)
5. Tap Language Settings.
6. Tap Phone Language.
7. Tap the language you want.

1. go to settings (its look like round besides the image clock )
2.select phone (it is in number 4)
3.language (number 10
4.finally select english (2nd from the top )

Had the same issue. I just google translated the word "language" into English.

Step 1 - If you have some message in German and can't exit, just remove the battery and turn the phone back on. Or try holding the * key for about 3 seconds. If this doesn't work try running in circles while rubbing your belly.

Step 2 - Select the bottom left "Menu"

Step 3 - Once in the "Menu" go down to the last icon on the bottom right (Gear Symbol) Named "Einstellungen".

Step 4 - Go down the list and find "Telefon". It's the 4th icon down.

Step 5 - Select option 1 "Sprache"

Step 6 - Select "English" Duhhh

Step 7 - Be happy

its to aesy just try open your phone.... unlocked and go to seetings then select language settings find the ENGLISH and click ok... so thats all just try now...

After living in Berlin, the Germans can be stubborn. My guess on the phone is that the English file is gone.

At first go to setting-----then phone setting(no 4 option)----after that language(no 1 option)-----after that you have a option screen text please select on English---and the final option input language please select on English..........

On the phone, go to Start>Settings>System>Regional Settings, change to English, but I tried it just now (but on a different phone, but windows mobile, like the omnia) it didnt change anything..

You need a english rom, which you can get from Samsung's Website
I tried to find the model number you gave me but couldn't find it, maybe it was bought elsewhere? If so, make sure you change the region/location on the website.

The easiest way to fix this is through the Apps menu. Hit the apps key, then scroll down until you see any language(espanol, Deutsch, etc.). It should give you the option of switching to either that language or restoring to English. I just tried this on a calculator that was set to German. I hit Apps and scrolled down until I recognized the option for Spanish, and it still worked. It let me switch back to English.

Hey, you can try this reset code on the phone.

1. remove your simcard
2 type *2767*3855# ALL DATA WILL BE LOST.

If the phone is locked with firmware then the code wont work.
