This can be caued by the color wheel cracked. There are four sections of glass that were glued together to form the color wheel. Sometimes the lamp over temperated and can crack the color wheel. I have new ones in stock and this is not recommended for home user to replace. I can fix it for you.

The image color on projection is not the same as shown in laptop. There's is no red color.

It could be a broken connection in the computer lead for the red signal, or a fault on the projector that the red panel doesn't work any more.

To diagnose, bring up the projector's on screen display. If there's white in the menus then the problem is the cable. Replace it with a new one. If the menus are affected too then it's a projector problem. This requires the attention of a service engionner.

Red color seperating

If you mean the red light is displaying offset from the blue and green then the red LCD panel inside the projector needs to be physically adjusted. If you take the projector apart you'll notice that the light source is split into red, green and blue light by passing through an optical splitter. Each color then passes through it's own LCD panel. Next, each color is joined back together by another light splitter to be projected to your screen. The red LCD panel is misaligned.

Our project seems to have lost a color. The

may have fried fly-eye (diffuser) lens and fried light filter on one or more of the lcd panels. both due to excessive dust and heat. unfortunately, you'll have to replace the entire optical engine. toshiba doesn't sell individual parts.

Color difficulties

Have you tried using the video inputs, Is it able to show red then ?

If not & you have reset the factory settings the prisim or mirror's may have gotten out of alignment in shipping, Or it may have a bad lcd panel or the red lcd may have a bad connection or driver circuit.
