Thanks for the link a67994. Everything is working great. My only concern though is the signal strength to the PS3 . Getting at best about 65 percent. The router is about 30 feet from the PS3. Do I need to be concerned about the signal strength. I was told that the strength should be at least 80 percent. Maybe this is not a big deal. Thanks again.

I accidentally disabled my wylan. how can i get it back or enable it?

You need to hardwire the computer with any of the LAN port of the router. Then you need to log into the user interface of the router. Then you need to click on the Wireless tab and over there you may turn on the wlan of the router. Accessing the Router'sWeb-Based Setup Page
If you need any help then you may chat with some technician available at this website.

Hardwire ports on wireless router not working

You could

1) Reset the router to factory default by hitting the reset on back

2) You could visit the router over the wireless link ( default password is "admin" username blank.

Check on the page to ensure the ports are enabled.

3) Update the firmware on the device. see if it works.

Note there is a port called "uplink" which is designed for the internet connection and not the local computer.

My hardwired computer gets on line but the other two wireless can't. I've reset the router several times but no luck. Checked all the connection still no luck.

Check if the router is assigning IP addresses to the Wireless devices. Also se if you hard-wired desktop has been assigned an IP address manually. Else try to assign IP's to wireless devices manually (Depends on your setup)

Hi, I can't get my wireless work. I tried to reset it. But it still not work.

Make sure that your computer is able to go online through the modem. If your computer is not able to go online through the modem then you will need to call ISP first. If your computer is able to go online through the modem then you need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router. open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

WRT54G keeps disconnecting itself, requires disconnecting/reconnecting power and running setup disk again to reconnect. System info: 12 mb/s cable broadband ISP, Motorola SB5105 cable modem, WRT54G...

Go to Administrative Page on your router at section Setup - Basic and activate: Keep Alive : Redial Period 30 seconds.

After that restart your router

Possible you did reset the router. Its okay to connect to that linksys network name. But if you want to customize you network name.

Example : The Desktop computer that is connected to directly to router.
