Question about GE 28111 Cordless Phone
My model # is 28112EE2-A the phone do not ring can you help?
If you plug it into magicjack, it doesn't have enough voltage to make it ring.. w need g.e. to tell us how to re engeneer the thing.. i don't want to use and technical name4s for what we ned. its a picture of the foil on the board and description of the wires so we can change it to ring at much much lower ribnging power

Unplug and replug. It will start ringing. It will also give you setup instructions, so, if you don't have a manual, you might want to have a pen and paper ready to take down the instructions. They read off the basics pretty fast.

Does it say do not disturb? if it does press the red button on the base.... if not then your tring to use it with a voip provider (i.e comcast, Vonage, skype..) this phone wont ring for some reason with out a very specific ring frequency....

SOLUTION: My handsets stopped ringing after power was stopped to the main base, too. I put one on the main base and that one started working but the others still didn't work. So I put the other phones on the main base while I called from my cell and let it ring. The other phones started to ring and work again.
