Question about Barebone Systems

I reloaded my printer software on my computer and as it were loading a screen came up tha say (runtime error)My printer is about a month old it is a(all in one lexmark 5000 series X5070)

Please unistall all existing drivers for your Lexmark printer driver. remove all the programs unnecessary from windows tra right side down the screen . And Install it again.

My power on light of my f4140 HP printer is blinking


please hold down power button for 20 seconds so that hp printer shuts down and reboot again and try and see what happens
good luck with it if that doesnt work go to device manager then remove the printer and remove all printer software and then unplug printer reboot computer then you plug in printer then let the windows software load all drivers they will work fine once you install the new software go to windows update website then look for updates for new hardware items you are good to go reboot and happy printing

I purchesed a brother scanner printer copier from Best buy and did not opened the box for approx 1 1/2 months. when I opened the box there was no cd to load the program, what do I need to do to get a cd?...

Printer Problem


error occurred
1. Press CANCEL JOB to clear the print job from the printer memory.
2. Turn the printer off, and then turn the printer on.
3. Try printing a job from a different software application. If the job prints, go back to the first application and try printing a different file. (If the message only appears with a certain software application or print job, contact the software vendor for assistance.)
4. If the message persists with different software applications and print jobs, disconnect all cables to the printer that connect it to the network or printer.
5. Turn the printer off.
6. Remove all memory DIMMs or third-party DIMMs from the printer. (Do not remove the firmware DIMM in the lowest DIMM slot.)
7. Remove all EIO devices from the printer.
8. Turn the printer on.
9. If the error no longer exists, install each DIMM and EIO device one at a time, making sure to turn the printer off and back on as you install each device.
10. Replace a DIMM or EIO device if you determine that it causes the error.
11. Remember to reconnect all cables that connect the printer to the network or computer.
12. If the error persists, replace the firmware DIMM.
13. Replace the formatter.

I have a cannon printer 1 mt old never used because the usb it came w/ cant fit in the whole provided in the printer please help i really wanna use my new toy


since you printer is 1 month old. please call your dealer and have them replace your usd cable.. im sure your printer is under warranty

I had the same problem. Adding twain_32.dll to the Windowsfolder solved the problem. For people who don't want to search for it: Look Here.
Then you won't get this error but one saying to reinstall the printer driver. Just do it and the problem is solved.

HP Printer Conflict


Perform a clean and "No bloated" installation of the hardware.
Uninstall ALL the HP printer software, disconnect the PSC and reboot the computer.
When windows finish to load, connect the PSC again, the new hardware wizard will show up, follow the instructions with the HP Installation disk in the drive.
IMPORTANT: When a silver sand glass show up in the screen, CANCEL the installation of the HP software (this is by clicking "CANCEL" button or by no accepting the license terms). This will install only the PSC Drivers and nothing else.
Try printing again.
