This can be a coincidence but I feel that the earpiece speaker is faulty. Since your headset is working then it is for sure that the circuit is functioning. So it is either a connection of the speaker jack not linking back to the speaker after the jack is withdrawn. SO if you are able to open the phone check with a multimeter on the earpiece speaker. replace if faulty.

I have a new phone model lg km555, but unfortunately after 3 weeks i wasn't able to hear any sounds from it. its like in a silent mode. but i tried it with headset, it works. what can i do?

The earpiece is not functioning or the speaker is not working accordingly. Remove the panel to check the earpiece if faulty replace, if not check the connector, the connections to the earpiece jack section as since the headdphones are working there can be a break inthis section. Use a lens to check carefully.

Cannot hear anything on receiving call bt able to hear with speaker on or on hand set......

you have to change your speaker (earpiece)
when you choose the loud speaker option,,
you will able to hear the voice,,why?because the sounds transfer from earpiece to buzzer..its same when you use headset..the sound from earpiece will transfer to headset that case,,you need to replace your earpiece..100% your problem will be solve!!

The normal earpiece (not headset) has no sound. I have to either use headset or use speakerphone to hear whoever I'm talking to... just started yesterday..all of a sudden, no slw fade or anything. worked...

Normally Motos blow the top end speaker! Most of the time they are soldered, but I haven't done a phone of this model for a while , so cannot remember . If possible , try to get a V3 speaker from somewhere and then disassemble phone, to see if it will work. V3 spkrs are much cheaper , and usually work on many motos . If the speaker is round , it may need to clean the elastomer, so if this is the case email me at fonegeeks@ hotmail , and I will attempt to talk you through it . Need to open handset first :] cheers!

New cell phone won't "see" bluetooth earpiece

The headset will automatically pair with the last device that it was paired with. You may want to remove that just in case. I am sending the users guide along with this. Also always start with the blue tooth turned off, the pass key is 0000 (four zeros).

LG Rumor Internal Earpiece Toggles from Working to Not

There could be a short in the earpiece. This can be fixed at a repair center if they are stocked with the right parts. If not they can still check out the phone and see if it is eligible for an exchange.

Plugged in headphones for call, now earpiece doesn't work

Same here. I tried many things but cannot ring it back to headset mode. I continuously see the headphone icon shown in the phone, so it seems that the phone thinks that it is still connected to earphones. Sometimes, it works fine, but mostly it does not. If I connect the phone on bluetooth earphones, it works fine.
Any help will be appreciated.

No Sound on the phone

It is probably cause by some dirt in the o2 port that causing the switch that detect the headphone to stuck. try cleaning/picking them up using a small toothpick or needle.
