DVD recorder has stopped picking up a signal from the tv.

We have a Panasonic DVD recorder (DMR-EX75) which is 2 years old. I think the free view digital tuner card needs replacing because it has stopped picking up a signal from the tv. Could this be the problem and where can I pick up a replacement card? Thanks.

Double check connections first and try using the factory settings reset, before replacing the card.

I have a Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-ES30VEB could you please tell me if this will still be able to record if I buy a new Panasonic digital TV??

Yes, connect to AV2 and you can select the output for AV2 from the menu.
Most tv's send a selectable signal out through av2 but if you match to your Panasonic, you may find it will automatically set up with the dvd recorder(like Sony Smartlink)
You simply go into the menu, select the av2 output set up and pick what you want to record. I.E. dvt, av1 etc.

Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-EX77EB says no signal but no problem with aerial TV says signal strength 5 no problem for over a year since bought new until now

I restarted 'Auto setup' this deletes the channel settings (which had presumably been corrupted) and re-installed them from the incoming signal.
