Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
Kenmore washer dryer combo
Washer drum leans to one side
And thumps when in use mainly spinning
When I pull the drum in the correct position it goes back to the side when I let go.
any ideas on repair?
If this is a small combo the problem is probably one or more of the suspension springs has become detached. You need to get the washer cabinet off. take the panel between the washer and dryer off. then there are 2 clamps holding the washer top on. they are in rear right and left. Once you get the top off you will be able to take the front of the washer off. At that point you should be able to see the problem under the tub. In most cases you can reinstall the plastic shaft back into the spring by screwing them back in.. This is not easy but can be done.
