Question about Motorola Mobility MOTORIZR Z3 Cellular Phone

2 Answers

Cell Phone I just got the P168 and it says "No Service." I've tried SIM cards from Sprint, Verizon, Cingular, and Nextel, but still no luck. Is there something I am suppose to change in the settings to get it to recognize my network (Cingular/AT&T)? In the user settings I found a section for Network, but every time I try to change the order in which it searches (AT&T is listed as one) it says "unfinished" but doesn't explain what that means. HELP! I like the phone but I can't use it.

I don't think a Verizon SIM card even exists and if it does it's called a R-UIM not a SIM a totally different technology, CDMA vs GSM, the only kind of SIM card that will work for sure is the one that the phone was intended to use and it must be an active SIM card for it to work, even without a SIM card you should be able to dial 911, if you care little for the law and aren't afraid of the police you could try dialing 911 just for a second with the SIM out, say your sorry it was an accident and keep the battery out for a few days, somewhere far from your home, just in case they decide to check it out. But I don't recommend it... Cheers!

Samsung sph m220. how do I remove the sim card?

That phone is a CDMA phone and does not use a SIM card. Sprint phones and Verizon phones are CDMA and do not use SIM cards. AT&T and T-Mobile use SIM cards, but are GSM phones, a whole different technology/signal. Nextel phones do have SIM cards, and some "World" phones at Verizon have SIM cards for traveling overseas where there is no CDMA, but your Samsung SPH-M220 has NO SIM card.
Just in case you want to check anyway, here is a link to the user's manual:

I Need the unlock code for a t-mobile motorola v300 Phone. Bought it at yard sale. Want to make it use cingular sim card.

Hi,
Call T-mobile customer service and ask them that you want to place a phone unlock order (use these terms, so that you know that you know what you are talking about), and it depends on the person you are talking to you. they might not ask you alot of question, just your IMEI/ serial no and an e-mail they will forward the unlock information to, it takes some while for them to send you the information.

You can switch your service to 'Cingular' if you want to by popping in a new cingular SIM card, but can't use Verizon and Sprint service's(operate with CDMA).
Hope this Helped!

Unlock codes

You may need to purchase a new sim card for it to be compatible with your nextel phones BUT it won't hurt to call customer service and try to activate that sim card under the ic902's serial number. Because your ic902 is also a sprint phone it works off of a different network and will need programming. Customer service will be able to activate your phone and give you the info needed to get your phone up and running.
