Question about Motorola Mobility L6 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Browse wap, but can't access other gprs services

We are using motorola l6 to run java apps for data entry using gprs. we have deployed about 20 phones, but noticed that some of them are unable to use gprs, even though the wap settings for the provider is fine and can browse wap pages. is there a configuration we need or is there a code for this?

Email will not work with any server that requires smtp authentication (which is pretty much all of them here)

There is no java in the browser. Forget it. There is also no java loader so there is no downloading java games. Copying them to the SD card won't work either. No java loader so the file will be unrecognized.

Wap services like gmail, yahoo email and wap based instant messagers work fine. Make sure you have a good unlimited feature so you do not incur overages from over using your new toy.
