I have a CDX GT610, the issue is that is not possible to change stations, even if I try with the push buttons to record the stations, it remains on the same station (number 3 in my case), besides the volume gets high if I want increase the volume, any suggestion about it??? please let me know
aux should be 2 point cuming off wive the wires or on the back ov the cd player and red and yellow needs 2 be touching for you live and you earth is the thickest black wire if that dont work then try the fuses
The optic inside the CD player may be dirty or damp, this is the part that reads the data from the cd, you can try cd cleaning discs or you may have get an engineer to open it and clean it with an alcohol swab. The optic could also be faulty which will be cheaper to buy a new cd player.
i am also facing the same problem with my SONY car stereo, when i inquired same to technician he said there is one switch inside player which got damaged, and requires replacement, he said that will cost me Rs.800 - Rs.1000
