Go to the top right of the page and the first link to the right of the bar and click it for a drop-down list and the logout is the last one on the list

What phone are you using? There should be a place to logout on any phone's operating system's Facebook application. I'm familiar with the iPhone Facebook application where you logout by going to the "Account" button in the top left and hitting "Logout."
You will need to logout from your neice's profile first - click the word "Account" in the upper-right corner of the screen to drop down a menu, then click Logout. You can then log back in as yourself.
That is because your daughter was the last to log in and did not logout. To enable you to login run facebook and when your daughter's page opens select Account in the right top corner. Here you have an option of Logout. Select this and you have your chance to login. And if you do not want anyone else to see your page then logout of facebook when you are done.
If you have signed up with different email accounts, put your email in and click forgot password.

If you wish the log out or sign out of the Facebook, kindly click the "Account" tab at the top-right of the Facebook page and select "Logout" from the drop-down menu. (See attached image)
sounds like neither of you are "logging out". in the upper right is an "account" drop down menu. move your pointer above the downward arrow and the drop down menu should list "logout" at the bottom. click on "logout" when you want to switch users.
2 users can NOT be logged in at the same time on ONE computer.
