Toshiba sattelite, no display with charger

Ive got toshiba satellite A205 when i plug my charger and turn it on,theres no display that appear on screen..but when i turn it on without charger, the display is ok.how to solve this.boss

1. It's possible the AC adapter died while you were working on the laptop. The laptop was running until you had charge in the battery and after that it turned off. Can you test the AC adapter? Make sure it outputs correct voltage.
2. It's possible that you have bad RAM module. Do you know if you have two RAM modules installed in your laptop? Try removing them one by one. If one of the modules is bad, the laptop should start when your remove it.

When i plug in my toshibba satellite a205, the plug light turns on, but the batery charge lights flashes just once, then goes off. my battery says 2%, not charging. is it a battery or combination laptop...

True turning it on while pluged in but without the battery in. If it works its your battery if not it is you charger or laptop, my bet is on the charger they have a tendancy to go out.

you will have to open the laptop and remove the battery to reset the bios password.
