Toshiba sattelite, no display with charger

Please be sure that you have a valid and activated operating system on the computer. If you do then it sounds like the motherboard, processor, or memory has gone bad.

This machine only has Vista drivers, and Toshiba will **not** support side- or down-grading to XP

Seems like this is a charger issue.. Try to change the charger that you are using with your friends cahrger or a replacement charger.. If you dont have one just get one.. The problem will be fixed

1. It's possible the AC adapter died while you were working on the laptop. The laptop was running until you had charge in the battery and after that it turned off. Can you test the AC adapter? Make sure it outputs correct voltage.
2. It's possible that you have bad RAM module. Do you know if you have two RAM modules installed in your laptop? Try removing them one by one. If one of the modules is bad, the laptop should start when your remove it.

True turning it on while pluged in but without the battery in. If it works its your battery if not it is you charger or laptop, my bet is on the charger they have a tendancy to go out.

Battery is shot.

YOUR COMPUTER MAY HAVE BURN OR OVER HEATED.....

SO UR GONNA HAVE TO CONTACT TOSHIBA
TELL THEM WHAT IS WRONG OR WHAT HAPPEND....

you will have to open the laptop and remove the battery to reset the bios password.
