Drying the keyboard with a hair dryer was not a good idea... Under the keys are layers of mylar with the circuits for the keys printed on them. If the mylar got hot it wrinkled and the keyboard may have been ruined. Try the keyboard after the batteries have dried, and if it does squirrely things, you'll probably have to replace the keyboard.
keyboard error maybe cussed by : 1. the data cable was loose --> open the keyboard from the laptop and the data cable from the laptop than clean the data cable wait until dry and plug in again use the duck tape to strengthen the cable data connection in the main board. 2. dirty --> open the keyboard from the laptop open all the key (carefully) than use vacuum cleaner to clean all of the dirt or use blow it with air compressor 3. moist --> open the keyboard from the laptop than dry it on the sun or yo can use hair dryer

if it was just water ...shut it down and blow with cool air from a hair dryer until it will work ...not with hot air cause it has some plastic sheets inside..just let it dry ...and will work ,,if it was something else ..with sugar ..like beer..juice or so...it will need opening and clean well and dry and after that will work ..if it has permanent damages needs a keyboard replacing ... meanwhile if it loosing its functions...just connect a usb based kayboard and use it instead..until replacement ..if the functions will not came after drying ..but if it was just water will get back after it will dry completeli and no longer make false contacts/..
Disconnect the battery and a/c plug. Use a hair dryer on the keyboard for a while to try and dry it out. It may take a couple of days to dry out. If it continues to have problems your laptop may need a new keyboard or motherboard.
..you can open your keyboard from the back of it..those little screw..un-screw them..then..carefully open it..you can see plastic board there..actually 2 pcs..just clean it with a dry paint brush to clean off dust..or you can wipe it gently with a wet cloth or wiper sheet...get ride any dust or dirt specially on those numbers..then gently put all things back..if this doesnt solve your problem..try changing your keyboard coz it may be broken already...key board are usually dispossable..hope i contribute something here..
I had a client with that problem--we removed the keyboard and tried to clean it. Turns out that our cleaning job was less than perfect because the laptop keyboard is mostly sealed. There was liquid that seeped down onto the motherboard as well--that we could clean up. The long and short of is--you will probably need to replace the keyboard. Of course, with nothing to lose, you could wash the keyboard and let it dry out thoroughly, plug it in, and see if it works. The key here would be the thorough drying. If you decide to try this chancy procedure, don't dry it with high heat. A hair dryer set on low might be the answer.
