Since it was not mentioned in the instructions on the box,
I wonder what is the functionality of two slide bottons:
1) two position button: 5/4 CUT
2) five position button: F 3 2 0 ADD2
any clue?

I have the same problem.

same question re slide switch "5/4 CUT", what does it do. Regarding the switch "F 3 2 0 ADD2" this controls trailing zeros, f for floating, 3 2 0 number of zeros beyond decimal point, ADD2 causes 2 zeros beyond decimal point.
