Question about Televison & Video
Got a Grundig colour tv model GUVCD2800B. About 2 months ago all the digital channels disappeared. No matter what menu I went into they wouldn't show and also there was no menu to get them back. I looked in the manual and it said to view / tune in your digital channels turn the tv off then turn it on pressing the P+ / P- buttons then select the channel you wanted. Tried this but after waiting a few minutes with an egg timer showing on the screen, it couldn't find the digital ones, just the analogue.
My friend came round and pressed loads of buttons and somehow we managed to get into a menu that allowed us to reset the digital channels and turn on the digital receiver which when we went into that menu for some reason had been turned off.
Got it working but the other day lost the digital channels again. My mate came round but we couldn't get that menu back up.
It seems there is a hidden menu for turning on / off the digital receiver which is not listed in the manual.
Go to menu, digital setup, then auto tune all the channels again. it worked fine for me :D

I'm sorry, but I have not worked with Grundig TV's, radios yes, TV's no. However, The menu shouldn't be hidden. The first thing I would try would be to UNPLUG the set from the wall, wait about a minute and plug it in again. This action should reboot the micro processor. On some sets, there are two levels of menus, main and advanced. You would want "channel setup" and /or channel scan. You may also look in the back of the manual and see if it list some service dealers that you could call for help. I hope this helps.
