Based off what you have described your Frigidaire washer is making a clattering noise during the initial spin cycle. This sounds like a possible problem with your belt, pulley, or motor. Unfortunately in order to find out which component is causing the problem you would need to disassemble the entire washer and inspect each part. This may not be a simple DIY job since all components need to be tested. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
