I have a Whirlpool Electronic Double Oven about 10 12 Yeats old. Two tinted glass doors with 14mm round stainless handles and digital clock. We cannot get the main oven temp uver approx 150. The thermistat appears to be working. When we attempt to increas the temp the temp light goes on but the temp never gets high enough to extinguish the them light only goes out when the temp knob is wound back. I have meatered the element and they both appear to be ok, Where to from here. David

Heating coils fails! even setting/s to the max temp. you could not get the heat you wanted, the thermal pan that connected to the coil doesn't absorb or get heat to the machine.

I'd recommend checking the cycling relay, seems like it isn't tripping when the thermostat tells it to. Info on checking it here.

There's possibility that you have a problem with the heating coil inside, that why it never give's the right temp/heat you set.

Remove door on whirlpool stove or range

I'm not sure about Whirlpool but most doors have a little locking latch on the door hinge. Look carefully at the exposed hinge when open and see if there is something you could pry up with a screwdriver while someone supports the door. Then you lift the door away. Its all in the owners handbook if you have one. If not go to the manf website and see if you can download one.

How do I remove the front door glass

First you have to remove the door. Your owner's manual may show you how to do this. Otherwise, check YouTube. With the door removed, look at the bottom of the door and remove the 3 or 4 screws on the bottom. On some oven doors, that is all that is needed; the outer glass will slide down and off the oven door. On other models, you also need to also remove the 2 screws that hold the door handle. Then the outer glass will lift off the door.

Cleaning glass in oven door double glass

You would have to take the door apart. Two screws at the handle and 3 screws on the bottom. BE sure to take the door off the oven first and lay everything on a soft sheet. Do not put uneven pressure on the door glass, wear safety glasses and do not over tighten any screws.

There are stains between the glass of the upper oven door

Sadly the only solution is to strip down the door and clean the glass. It's a lot of effort for little return and you should re gasket the door afterwards to re seal it, but there is no guarantee it won't happen again. Contact Maytag to complain here:

The Glass from the front of the oven door is off.

the glass on this door, is held up only by the lower trim, and sits behind the handle escution(very small contact point) as far as the trim for sides, the slip under top esctution, and behind the door glass(sorta keep the glass from contacting the metal frame of door.} much easier to do with door off of unit, refer to manual as how to remove the door if needed

Whirlpool Gold Range Error code EO F2

On this website: http://www.repairclinic.com/0078.asp#Whirlpool , it shows all of the codes for the Whirlpool errors. Based on the remarks, if it shows a "4 digit failure code" it is "Shorted keypad"
"Replace Electronic Range Control/Clock (ERC)"

But verify this as I am not an appliance repair specialist. I am a computer nerd who just knows how to find information. I am actually trying to figure out an answer to my own problem with my Whirlpool Gold Accubake.

Cleaning Oven Door Glass inside face

First take the two inside screws out, (found at the top of the door) they will pop out when you have both sides off so make sure to take them all the way out so you dont lose a washer or one of the screws. The handle is actually secured by these 2 screws and will come off of the door when you remove them.. your metal door can bend slightly in this process, so be careful. as soon as the handle and screws are off you can clean inside of the 2 pieces of glass, also a good time to clean off the opposite side of the door behind the handle. only take the 2 screws off no need to remove the full door. I used a magic eraser to remove the grease and then I cleaned the glass with glass cleaner. I used a small vice to secure the door when putting the handle back on, but you could have someone to hold the piece togeather for you too. (I have a frigidaire stainless steel model)
