Re: my camera wont turn on
The likely problem is your batteries. Digital cameras need to run on rechargeable batteries, If you are already using rechargeables, have a look at tha mAh value which should be written on the side. Retailers recomend a value of at least 1800,personally i would go for 2100.

Sounds like you pulled out the camera without using the "safely remove hardware" function. Try this...remove the card and battery...press all the buttons...leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on.
This is a 12.1MP camera...if you have it set to take pictures that large, then the files will be huge...too big for the internet. You have to downsize them first...that's perfectly normal. You could set the camera to take lower quality pics, but if you come across one you would like to enlarge, it won't turn out very well. Why not continue the procedure you now use if it's working for you.
Havent been able to find any software, but you can try the following workaround: 1. Plug in the camera to the PC and ensure it is detected by the PC. 2. Right click START button and select Explore. 3. From the left panel, scroll to the drive corresponding to your camera. (It will usually be located after the last DVD/CD ROM Drive letter. 4. Click on that drive to expand the folders in the right pane. 5. Search for the relevant pictures from a folder within that drive. 6. Copy the required pics (Press CTRL and click on pics in case you want to select more than one pic. 7. Once you copied all the needed pics, select a folder on your computer (or create a new one) and paste the pics into this folder. 8. You're done :)
Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions,

First check batteries, because on Digital Cameras they go out pretty fast. So if you know for a fact it's not batteries, then also dust in a camera can jam it and cause it not to work simply open up and blow in it softly and add new batteries, if don't at first work try again.
okay ive had my a345 since christams and all has been good until recently when i tryed to upload my pictures. the camera when plugged in will say "checking usb" then it will say "communication error" something will come up and say "choose program to upload photos" and there isnt a program is it because i set my computer back and dont have the cd? i download picasa but it still wont upload.help please.
