Wifi Problems with Asus A2500H notebook

My Asus A2500H built in wifi cannot connect to the internet.

It catches the wifi signal but I cannot go on the Net.

I have a Dlink wireless router with DHCP enabled and normally it should automatically assign the IP address. But it does not for this instance.

Please help

Regards

That sounds very much like a software problem because it detects WIFI.

Solution:

uninstall driver through properties --> then install again

Let me know if that works for ya. Thanks.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My HP nc6120 cannot detect my wifi signal

That indicates your wifi is on but not active, pull out your owners manual to make sure you did not overlook something, right click on the wifi icon, what do you see? The WEP key is assigned by your internet provider so long as you clicked on the right one you should be connected. If you still have problems contact your provider and have them give step by step instructions.

Connection to the internet

Android 2.2 has wifi problems. But you can do radio site survey and connect hotspot to see what went wrong? you may have signal interference from refrigerator or other sources. Or moving objects reflecting wifi signals. Most wifi/g/n chipsets use ofdm mode which has more signal problems than the /b DSSS mode. We are recommending older laptops to use /b wifi cards.

I have wifi internet connection but some time signal is very low

Install a wireless repeater, such as this:

http://www.hawkingtech.com/products/productlist.php?CatID=32&FamID=105&ProdID=241

OR move your wireless access point closer to the computer, or use an additional access point, or purchase a Luxul amplified antenna.

You could also get an external wi-fi card with a big antenna.

Hope this helps,

Cheers

Outlook and IE can't find WiFi connection. I can connect to a wireless network, but I can't get IE or MS Outlook download from it.

Hi,

First of all turn the wireless radio off on the laptop, then go to the modem and the wireless router and turn them off for 2 minutes.
Turn them back on and wait a further 2 minutes for them/it to reset.

Now go to your laptop and turn the wireless radio back on again, re-connect to the wireless signal and see if you can access the net. If you can then you should have no further problems retrieving your emails or accessing the internet.

Please feel free to post back if you need to.

Good luck.

My eep netbook will not connect to internet it says the signal is strong but says internet cannot connect

If your wifi is password protected, you may need to disconnect and try to reconnect and reenter your wifi password.

Make sure that others have the same issue, this could be a sign that your wifi access point or router is going out or that your wifi adapter on the netbook is faulty.

Wifi can dtects signals, but no internt

Maybe, the router is not allowing the connection to the internet. It can also be that the cable from the modem to the router is not placed on the right slot.

Wifi doesnt work

Make sure you have a very strong signal before you decide its not working. It can say its connected, but if the signal is weak, you still might not connect.

Is my internal wifi card an antique?

It is also possible that you have set a security connection on your computer and the new router is not set to the same security settings. If they don't match, you will not connect...nor will anyone trying to 'steal' your signal.
