Hi 4rockgrays,
Welcome to Fixya.

If you need your WPA Password on your router you need to access the Wireless Settings Page. To access the router page you need a working computer that is connected to the router. To access the router page just open a browser then type 192.168.0.1, the Default username is admin and the password is blank. Go to the Wireless Settings and under Security Mode you'll find the Network Key or Passphrase. You can alsoThen Personalize you Network Key or Passphraseso that you can easily remember it.

I cannot access the netgear settings.

to access the router you will need to open up your web browser and type in 192.168.0.1,it will then ask you for a user name and password ,the user name is admin, the password is password, that will get into the netgear utility for the router, that info can also be found on the bottom of router,if that doesnt work then you will have to reset the router to the default settings by holding in the reset button for about ten seconds located on the back ,you will have to use something that is small enough to depress it,you have to reset it while it is on,if you got it used then you should reset it anyway so that you can configure it according to your situation,ok have fun and good luck, you can get detailed info from netgears website.

If i revert back to my factory settings on my netopia router, will this impact my at&t settings? i'm just trying to let someone use our wireless access and have misplaced the login info

Yes if you reset all settings to factory defaults. All settings will be lost so you need to configure your router again.
You can access it and configure with following method.

For that Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link.
http://192.168.0.1
or
http://192.168.1.1
If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it.
Then it ask for user name and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank.
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Click on WAN settings and set those settings as your internet service provider settings.
Enable DHCP if you want to get ip from router.
Click on wireless settings enable wireless then enable WEP Security then add WEP code .It isyour password to connect wi fi.Then save settings and restart router.
Then you can connect your wi fi network with that code.
IF you are not able to access it with above ip then you need to reset it for access .Press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings are default.

No Wi-Fi access when we use an access point.

Its not that the router is windows comparable it is on and Operating system can access it .

You need to set up the router with your account info from the company that supplies your INTERNET access.

You need to have a physical connection to the router to set it up use a standard eithernet cable and go to the default address which it should be (192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 ) either one of these is probility the default address and login in if it has never been changed should be ( user-admin password- admin or password )

hope it helps here is more info on how to set it up

I can't access my linksys router set-up page. I keep getting this message: "401 unauthorized" authorization required

" 401 unauthorized" authorization required " .This message means the user name and password for the router is not correct. the default password of the Linksys router is admin with no user name ( leave it blank )
If the default password is not working then the router password must be changed.
If you don't know the password of the router then you will need to reset and reconfigure the router.
Once you reset the router , it will come back to the factory default settings.
