Question about Bissell 1699 ProHeat Clear View Upright Steam Vacuum
I have a pro heat 2x model and have only used it 5 times. The problem occurs when i pull the trigger to spray the water, after letting go it continues to dump loads of water into the carpet until it runs dry. I have taken it all apart at the base but unable to find any hoses that are split so there must be something wrong with the trigger i guess? Do you know what the problem is? Please help, my warranty is out.
Open case to access behind trigger the problem probably lies with the small valve that it operates. Remove valve and blow through it pressing the operating button in and out to see if it closes off fully. If not replace valve and reassemble.
