Question about Sega Saturn Console

Data Keeps Getting Deleted Every Time the Power Is Turned Off

The internal memory keeps getting deleted whenever I turn off the power on the Sega Saturn console. Will a backup cartridge prevent this? Also, for more proof, after I turn it on, it keeps telling me to set the date and language at start up. Is this supposed to happen? I have tried my NiGHTS into Dreams game on it. I beat the game in one day. I turned it off after I was done playing then when I plugged the console back in and turned it on, the set time and date menus came up again. I put the data back in, played my NiGHTS game and found out that I had to start over. I even checked the memory storage in the console and saw that data from my other games were gone. Why is this?

You need a new battery CR2032

Replace the batteries in the console. There are two CR2032 batteries inside an access panel on the back of the console.

Well it might be the outlit that its plugged into I remeber one time i tried to plug my
sega into one of the outlits in the basement and didn't turn on so it turned out to be that the outlit was turned off for the fuse or the adapter might be causing the mayhem.

Sorry, if you game is one of the "EARLY" made game, such as the color of the game cartrige (GBA) lighter then the regular game cartige, this might be fake or a faulty one or it is just too old at first made that it is not compatable.

Experience, i had pokemon emerald and this kept happening too. I know how you feel.

When I deleted home on my pS3 I got corrupt files

  1. Insert the PlayStation 3 memory card that has the corrupt file into the memory card slot of your PlayStation 3 console.
  2. Step 2 Turn on the PlayStation 3 without a disc in the console or with the loading lid open. A menu screen will then appear on your television.
  3. Step 3 Scroll through the options of the main menu using the down button on your directional pad and press the "X" button when you get to the "Browser" option.
  4. Step 4 Click on the icon that shows the memory card that you inserted by pressing the "X" button. You will now be able to view all of your memory card files. Locate the corrupt file and click on it with your "X" button.
  5. Step 5 Scroll through the list of options that appear and select the "Delete" option by pressing your "X" button. The file should now be deleted. Restart the PlayStation 3 and go back to your memory card to make sure the file was deleted.   NOTE WITH THIS IT WORK PROPERLY....
