Question about AOC CT720G 17" CRT Monitor
Kindly help me because my AOC monitor is just 1 yr old and it keeps automatically adjusting its view. I couldn't stop or exit it and all of a sudden i am hearing "clicking" sound at the monitor and swoosh!!! it changes the view and most times it is kinda distorted now. i don't know what to do. I have tried all the means possible to adjust it myself using the buttons at the monitor's lower front side but it kept automatically changing still. Help me pls...
Thanks a lot
Hello all.I had 2 AOC monitors with this kind of problem also and figured out the problem with this kind of monitor. All you have to do is to unscrew the monitor and get the control control switch buttons on its circuit board. There are four switch button that control the monitor with four pins each that attaches to the circuit board of AOC, another option is to replace the switch button with a brand new control switch button which can be bought to your local electronic shop. Now i had no problem with my AOC monitor because i literally removed those switch control buttons from its circuit board.

It could simply be that you have a loose connection at the back of the monitor with the cable that comes off the PC. Power down the system and unplug the monitor, lay it flat on cardboard and use a flashlight to find the slots for the screwdriver and make them snug. If that doesn't help remove the cable from the monitor and inspect for a bent pin at both ends if need be. If you have a bent pin do not try to straighten it yourself it requires a special touch and tool, get a tech to help at that point. If this doesn't solve your problem you'll need to call the manufacturer and request an RMA or exchange for a refurbished model.
