My Epson CS6400 printer goes through all the motions of printing but the pages are blank. I replaced all cartridges. Could the nozzle be clog? if so how do you fix it?

I'm having the exact same problem and have not found a solution. It occurs both for copying as well as printing from the computer. If you find a solution, will you please e-mail me at epm145@yahoo.com. Thanks!

I am having the same issue with my CX6400. Replaced ink cartridges, went through all diagnostics recommended by Epson. Installed, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers (multiple times) both from the CD and Epson's website, to no avail.

I had the same problem with mine after I changed the ink cartridges. This printer was a replacement for another Epson printer which did the same thing after I changed the ink cartridges. When I pointed this out to Epson they said they would send me new inks if I bought another Epson printer....Decided against this! I am not wanting the same thing to happen a down the road. This is a way they could keep me with an Epson had I agreed. It really makes me angry this happens right after I buy all new inks!

I just got off the phone with Epson support and they baiscally told me to shake the ink cart. and make sure you do a head cleaning. If that doesn't work, they say its a nozzle clog and you are better off buying a new printer than servicing this one. They have a "customer loyalty" program where you can get discounts on refurbished printers, but really why would anyone do that? So not much help, but just so you know, EPSON support isn't going to be able to help you solve this problem. He made it sound like you can't get at the nozzle to clean it. If its within the 1 yr warr. they will fix it for free, but i doubt that is the case for any of us.

Thx
Jessica

Help. Hi, Im JOM, my Deskjet 1280 printer feeds paper and I see the ink cartridge moving to print but the page comes out blank. What dould be wrong?

It is possible your printer is either out of ink, or it is possible the device is not making contact with the paper. Attempt to replace the ink cartridges first, if that does not work then I suggest bringing your printer to the nearest electronic repair shop.

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace the print head.

Doesn't print. Paper feeds, comes out blank

Hello.

If you have replaced the ink cartridges, try removing the printheads, swish the tips in a saucer of warm water, blot on a paper towel folded to 4 ply thickness, repeat.

Examine the nozzles, if there is still obvious dry ink left repeat cleaning until ink is gone.

The nozzles are delicate avoid the temptation to scrub them.

Hope this helps.

Paper in correct turned printer on red light flashing and will not print paper is blank when it comes out.

Red light flashing, do printing, paper blank out : ink low message. Ink level low, near to ink out level. But it just program, may be ink tank is out actually (no ink at ink tank). Refiil ink tank or replace w new one. Check Nozzle.

most likely you are out of ink other than blue, try to refill the other colors or get new cartridges.
