-   I've got the exact same problem Clock became dimmer over time, now almost illegible. Everything else works fine. Assuming I need a new clock but not sure where to get one.-   jradin
If your display has gone dimmer and dimmer or just gone out it is probably the display board. There are a few capacitors on the back of the board. There is one that is 68 Microfarad 35 Volts. It is common for this one to go bad. I replace it with a 68 Microfarad 50 Volt rated one and that usually solves the problem.
