Memory card not formatting

I have a nokia 6280. I recently brought a 2gb memory card. I formatted it in the phone and than on the pc. But during the formatting on the pc it said "windows was unable to format". Even though the card is brand new i'm unable to format it. Pls help

i have a brand new Micro SD for my Motorizr. i have exchanged the Micro SD twice and still windows is unable to format. it will work in my sister`s reg PC but not in my Laptop. The problem aint with the SD card, it the computer, maby it needs a special driver or needs special software i dont know. i am still lookin for the solution. if anybody can help me as well i would appreciate it .
