Unable to access the set-up wizard to install my wireless router.

I am trying to install my wireless D-Link Dl-624 air plus XtremeG router. The instructions tell me to go on the internet to access the installation wizard at the address of http://192.168.01. When I do as the instructions tell me, I keep getting an unauthorized error. Is there any other way I can access the setup wizard? I sure hope so or my investment has been a waste of money.

- Just to let ronamken and everyone know that I did find a way around the website installation glitch. I went to the D-link main site and downloaded to disk the instuctions/installation disk and installed it in my computer. Then I was able to access the installation instruction. Now my wireless router is working like a charm, and I am a happy camper.

-   Yes I'm having the same issue only my laptop was working fine with the D-Link until recently and I've been trying to go back through the 192 IP address to re-establish through the set up wizard. When you type in the IP, as described by marique, then type in the admin and hit OK the system just seems to hang there - then you get the unauthorized 401 code.-   ronamken

just reset the router... do you know how?
there is a small hidden button on it that you must press and hold for some minutes firs with the router powered and then with the router not connected to power line... Try this at leas 2 times with and 2 time without power, then try accessing the router as if it were new... with the default pass that comes in the manual...
