Question about SanDisk Sansa E280 MP3 Player

Recharging Does anybody know whether you can recharge these in Europe using a wall charger with a converter/adapter kit? I've heard that you should never charge electronics using a converter, but I've also heard that you can charge ipods using an adapter only...I don't know if sansa players are like ipods or not.

You should be able to just make sure the voltage or w/e matches the req. or you could try the sansa chargers that are made for travelling.

It does not make any difference with these lithium batteries.
In the older Nickle cadium batteries, it does. It gets a memory effect, if you charge them from a half charges state.

When you use the computer to charge your player, If the computer enters sleep mode, The usb power shuts down. A better option is to buy a wall charger from ebay for around $7. It will charge much faster than a usb port.

160 gb ipod classic won't recharge with the wall charger

Try charging it on the computer or with a different wall charger. The fault may lie in the charger brick. I have seen it happen many times that the wall charger quits working but it still charges on the computer.

Usb recharging does not work

I have seen this many times. Your battery is most likely depleted to the point that it is incapable of sending a signal to the computer. You will more than likely need to have you battery replaced. You can jump start your iPod with a wall charger, but you lost yours. A simple charger can be bought off of eBay for less than ten dollars. If you get a wall charger and nothing happens, your iPod is dead but it sounds like a battery issue.
