Hello, try going into Sound & Audio Settings through control panel. From there, click on the Audio Button. Toward the bottom on the left, UNCHECK the box that says 'USE ONLY DEFAULT DEVICES'. Then Under RECORDING section, pull down the drop menu and select M-Audio. And Click APPLY & OK to close. I would reboot and it should be working after that.. ok? Connecting an M Audio Fast Track USB to a Behringer XENYX 1002

I suppose that you connect the behringer mixer master out (just one of the two channels in case of two) to the guitar input of the Fast Track. Have you tried to hear your mic from the phones output at the front panel of the Fast Track? Try changing the guitar gain and the output level at the top of the Fast track.

I'm waiting for your results or clarification, please post.

Thanks and regards

M-audio fast track sound only coming out of right side

I havent played with acid a lot... but this is what i can tell you... most of the softwares have configurable inputs... seems like your inputs are configured as stereo input and hence it will pick up the signal from both the left and right discreetly... which means that you would need to feed audio to both the channels for the meter to pump on both bars...The other option is to PAN the track center and not hard left right... this would get audio to both ears of headphone as well as the output meters...
these are basically some of the few things tht will get u sound on both ears and bars...
The bigger question here thoug is why do you want to record in stereo?? and not mono?

M-Audio USB

U need an external phantom power supply, they run about $19.99, or you can get a different interface which has phantom power onboard, the cheapest one would be the m-audio mobile pre usb but that would not work on vista 64 bit... best bet is to get external power....

Sound in one ear only

The Fastrack only has one audio input signal to the PC. You'll need to set your recording software to mono, then you can add stereo fx in your audio software.
