Need to know where antenna card is located on my p25 toshiba laptop

The Wireless Module is located on the Bottom of the laptop,

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/ToshibaP25/disassembly/big/Toshiba_SatelliteP25_03.jpg

The top card to the left. (With the red arrow)

White Wireless Antenna wire, and a Black Wireless Antenna wire.
You can see which terminal the White wire connects to. Leaves the other terminal for the Black wire.

Beginning page of pictorial disassembly guide, (Page 1),

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/ToshibaP25/SatelliteP25_1.htm

Page1::Page2::Page3::Find another model, is in White, and on the Top of each page, and Bottom of each page.

The Wireless Antenna wires attach to the Wireless Module,

Looks to me the White wire to MAIN, and the Black wire to AUX.

The Wireless Antenna wires then thread up through a cavity (Hole), in the laptop body, and go through/by the Right Hinge.

From there they go into the Display Assembly, and connect to the Wireless Antenna,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toshiba-P25-Satellite-Laptop-WiFi-ANTENNA-K000006070-/220547282983

Scroll down, read the description.

The Wireless Antenna wires route through CHANNELS, and LATCHES.
The Wireless Antenna wires MUST go back in the SAME routing they were originally.

Failure to do will cause the laptop to not go back together correctly, and can cause damage to the Wireless Antenna Cable. (Wires)

Wireless antenna or wireless router

Did your ISP Boingo supply you with a DSL or cable modem with a built-in wireless router? If only a DSL or cable modem is supplied and you wish to connect to the Internet by wireless then you need to connect a wireless router to this DSL or cable modem.

You can connect to the Internet using a LAN cable from your laptop to the DSL or cable modem.
If your laptop as a built-in wireless card you can to the Internet via the wireless router.
If you laptop does not have a built-in wireless card then you can install a PCMCIA wireless card into the card slot of your laptop to the Internet via a wireless connection.

Where is the wireless antenna on a Latitude D610? I can't get the wireless internet option to work, and my computer suggested it could be the antenna.

Hello there,
There is actually no antenna. What you need to do is to turn on the wireless capabilities using the switch. All you have to do is to press the Fn key + the F2 key.
Good luck! Let me know if you have further questions.

My Dell E1505 won't allow me to go wireless. My

Ideally, see if we can isolate the issue.

Disable the built-in antenna.

Try connecting to the wireless via a USB wireless antenna. (hopefully you can borrow one).

If you can connect, then I would say you need to replace the built-in antenna. Or you could keep using the USB antenna.

Good luck

Can't find the wireless antenna on my msi u100 series laptop

Not really sure what you are expecting. The wireless antenna is within the computer--you won't see it.
What you will need to do is to turn the wireless networking on. This is done in some computers with a small switch on the case (in this case, there is usually a light that comes on when you turn the switch on). In other cases, you will have to use the Fn key plus one of the special function keys at the top of the unit (has a picture representing a wireless connection on it--possibly something like an antenna).
If this fails, go into your network connections and see if the wireless connection is actually turned on. If you have Vista, this is sorta easy as you click on "connect to" and then choose "wireless network"

Can not connect wirelessly with router

The list of wireless routers that are available in Windows is very limited and the signal strength of any router that is detected is weak. This can occur when the Lite-On USB Wireless 802.11 b/g hardware and Windows are not able to fully synchronize the signal strength data. Figure 1: Example of detected wireless devices when the antenna cable wire is connected to secondary port c01153759.jpg Figure 2: Example of detected wireless devices in the same environment when the antenna cable wire is connected to primary port c01153760.jpg To correct this error , download and install Lite-On USB Wireless LAN Driver Update (sp35177) (in English) from the HP Web site. This update should only be applied if your PC has the Lit-On USB Wireless LAN adapter and is exhibiting the symptom. As a work-around, you can connect the wire that runs from the wireless antenna port to the primary port on the cord as follows: CAUTION: This product contains components that can be damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD). To reduce the chance of ESD damage, work over a non-carpeted floor, use a static dissipative work surface (like a conductive foam pad), and wear an ESD wrist strap connected to a grounded surface.
  1. Open the side panel.
  2. Find the wireless networking board by following the antenna wire connected to the wireless networking antenna port on the back of the computer. Figure 3: Wireless networking hardware c01153761.jpg 1 - Wireless network board 2 - Antenna wire 3 - Wireless networking antenna port
  3. Very carefully, disconnect the small wire from the board by gently pulling the end of the wire away from the board.
  4. Connect the wire to the other available port on the board. Figure 4: Available port c01153762.jpg
  5. Replace the side panel, connect the power cord, turn on the computer, and use the computer again to verify that wireless signal strengths have improved.
