Question about Televison & Video

I have a Samsung HL-S4676S Slim DLP TV that shuts off on its own. It would happen very rarely, but today it is happening very often.

The most likely problems are(1) lamp(2)color wheel.

Keeps shutting itself off

hi, just check whether you have set any timer. It may possible that you have set some timer, thats why it keeps shutting off!!

Or may be due to power fluctuation but it happens rarely

hi....Your micro chip is faulty check the voltage comming out of the 42nd leg it shuold be 13 volts dc if you are not getting that voltage replace the microchip.and the eeprom IC....

your tv need to be re solder ,it's the first step your going to do.if nothings happened check the supply vertical IC or the IC itself.

Bightness Change

It sounds like your lamp is going bad. The lamp part number is listed as "lamp code" on a sticker located on the left side of the set. Use this number to grab a replacement off ebay.
