Surface works but clock wont come on to reset oven. it is brand new
Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly. Since you did not include a model number the only remedy I foresee at the moment without voiding your warranty is to schedule a warranty service call. You can contact them at this number: 1-800-424-2047 Your clock should be working and this is a valid warranty complaint. There are several things I could ask you to do but at this point all of them would be cause for voiding your warranty due to attempted repairs by un-qualified technicians. The clock should reset to 12:00 each time there is a power loss. You can try turning off the main circuit breaker for 10 minutes and then turning it back on after pushing it hard to off first. If the clock does not at least have a colon in it or... flashes 12:00 you have a valid warranty complaint. If all you see is a flashing colon.. push CLOCK then set the time and push CLOCK again. This should set your clock. To ensure your warranty stays valid do NOT attempt to do anything else. Make the call for warranty service using the number above.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
