My lap top will not turn on anymore... its plugged into the wall and no power what so ever.

If the laptop is not turning on we can try these things:
very first thing: (unplug all component including the battery from your laptop leave it for 2 mins and then press the power button for 30 sec without the battery and the ac adapter after that plug them all back and then turn on if it works fine if not please try these things:)

1. Check if there is a power indication on the ac adapter, if yes then check the jack and see if it is plugged properly with the laptop or the pin of the jack is fine. 2.If there is no power try a different adapter or try to turn on the laptop on battery or you try to change the wall socket to see if there is a problem with the wall socket for power. 3. If there is a power on the adapter and the jack is fine see if you get any indication of power on the laptop or not. 4.If there is a power on the laptop its fine if not there may be a possibility of mother board failure. 5.If you get a power on the laptop you can plug the laptop with an external monitor and then turn on to see if you get the display on the other one. If you get the display on the external monitor then there may be a possibility of lcd problem, in that case reseting the lcd cable will help.

If there is no power or lights etc, then first we must suspect the Wall Power Supply, you are going to have to try a replacement one to see if thats it, or using a meter check for voltage from adapter. Also check in another wall socket. Also take battery out, then try adapter, see if battery was influencing anything.
